With an elevated view of the hallowed turf of Eden Park from the comfort of a luxurious glamping dome - this is the ideal, novel glamping experience for rugby and sports lovers. Located in central Auckland, it's something a little different from our usual remote, nature-based glamping experiences. If you're looking for a special night away, without the drive time to get there, this is the perfect option.
Staydium Glamping is the brain-child of the team at Eden Park, recently winning an international award for innovation at TheStadiumBusiness Awards.
There are two Staydium Glamping domes positioned 2 metres apart - with doors facing in opposite directions to maximise privacy.
The domes are fully decked out, complete with stylish furnishings, state-of-the-art technology and an uber-comfortable queen-sized bed. Each dome has its own private bathroom with toilet, shower and basin.
On game day, you'll experience the buzz of the atmosphere and levels of comfort never before experienced in a stadium environment. When it's quiet - you'll have the peace of an enormous stadium to yourself - right in the middle of Auckland... Soak up the vibes while watching the sunset from the seats directly in front of your dome.
Staydium Glamping is located at Eden Park, Kingsland, right in the heart of Auckland City. Follow the Google Map directions to Walters Road and enter at gate C2. Arrival instructions will be supplied in a pre-arrival email 5 days prior to your stay.
Note: If you have booked within 5 days and haven't received a pre-arrival email shortly after booking, please email us at [email protected].
Upon check in you would have been provided with a key to your dome and a pin code to get in and out of the stadium via Entry C2. If you forget the code or lose the key, please contact security immediately on +64212232250.
The security team will be able to give you direction on areas you can explore near your dome. The field is not accessible as this is alarmed when not in use, however, if you book your free behind-the-scenes stadium tour you will be able to go out onto the hallowed turf.
Your stay comes with a free stadium tour for a true behind-the-scenes experience. Tours are conducted by expert historians who are passionate about sports and Eden Park. These are currently run at 2 pm, Thursday to Sunday (excluding public holidays, game days, and sometimes the day before a big game). If your stay doesn't coincide with a tour - you're welcome to attend on a day when the tour is running.
To book the tour, please book yourself in at a time that suits here - using the code GLAMPINGGUEST.
The Staydium Domes sleep up to 2 people in a queen-sized bed.
Full linen, towels and bedding are supplied. The queen bed is made up with high-quality 100% cotton sheets. Plenty of blankets are supplied for extra warmth.
Staydium Glamping does not have full kitchen facilities however there is a hot water jug, microwave and mini-fridge plus a chopping board, cutlery, cheese knife, glasses and mugs.
Eat out at one of the many local dining options or dial in some food via Uber-eats. There is a table inside and another outside to dine on.
Free car parking is available near Entry C2 off Walters Road, about one minute's walk from the domes. The stadium is manned 24/7 by a team of highly skilled security staff. A code will be issued so you can come and go through the stadium gates as you please.
Snacks and whatever you feel like drinking (note there are no cooking facilities at the Staydium but there is a mini-fridge, microwave, and some utensils).
*Pricing Varies on Game Days and includes tickets to the game of course, where you'll have the best seats in the house from your Dome. Dates are available to be booked 6 months in advance due to awaiting game schedules. Beyond this, the calendar will be closed.
