Green Rabbit

Green Rabbit

Mangonui, Northland

The Green Rabbit is set in the Far North, approximately 4 hours from Auckland and just 5 minutes from nearby Mangonui Village.

Set on the same property as the popular River Bothy, The Green Rabbit is a pitched roof cabin with buckets of personality.

Inside the cabin, an elevated bed nook with a large window makes you feel as if you're sleeping amongst nature. Lie in bed and stargaze at the starry night sky - or wake early to watch the sunrise gently spill over the hills.

There is small kitchen space inside the cabin and the smallest, cutest wood burner for cosy winter stays. Built-in comfy seating is a great place to relax while you explore the collection of vinyl records on the record player.

Take in the peaceful daytime vistas and the incredible night-time skies. The outdoor deck invites you to grab a glass, a book or just hang with each other and talk into the night. An outdoor bath nearby is hunkered in its own little cocoon of privacy. Light a few candles and soak in the views as you bathe in nature.

If you want to get out and about, the scenic Northland area offers lots to see and do - coastal walks, scenic lookouts and white sandy beaches.
