Green Hills Chalets

Mangawhai, Northland

Green Hills Chalets is a convenient 1.5-hour drive from Auckland - and only 10-minutes from Mangawhai Village in Northland.

Sleeping up to six guests, it's an ideal family-friendly and group rural escape.

There are two bedroom chalets, each with a queen-size bed and sofa bed. A central living cabin offers a communal gathering space - with a lounge, kitchen and bathroom. Decking boardwalks and steps seamlessly connect the individual spaces.

  • Your Hosts

Your hosts at Green Hills Chalets are Karen and Steve.

Karen’s working background was initially in nursing and then in farming in the Bay of Plenty.  Steve has done a lot of building, creating, painting, fixing and gardening. Nowadays, they are both semi-retired but still keeping busy.

Steve currently has a part-time business offering property maintenance. Leisure wise, they both enjoy time with their families, grandchildren, and friends… Also going to movies, concerts and rugby - and Steve loves his golf!

Karen has lived in Mangawhai since 2005 and Steve since 2015. They really enjoy the space, peace and quiet that Green Hills Chalets offer - and the joy of planting trees and watching as they grow.
