Boho Bach

Boho Bach

Karaka Bay, Wellington

Less than 10 minutes from Wellington airport and 20 minutes from the city centre, Boho Bach is a little oasis right in the middle of Karaka Bay, one of Wellington's most prestigious suburbs.

A steep winding bush path from a quiet suburban street takes you up, through the bush and opens out to a clearing with a little, old fashioned 1950s bach perched in prime position. Set on a rare 1.3 acres of land, and surrounded by native plantings, the bach is incredibly quiet and private given its suburban location.

The interior of the bach is quirky and full of personality. Touches of luxury, velvet and silk, are mixed with eclectic, colourful objects - creating a space that gives a true 'boho' vibe.

Enjoy expansive views overlooking Wellington harbour from the bach. You'll see Makora Island, and out to the Orongorongo and Remutaka ranges - often with breath-taking sunrises and sunsets. Soak in the outdoor bath a few steps from the bach and watch the fantails flit and the colour change on the hills.

Whether you're from out-of-town visiting the sites of the city, or you're from Wellington, wanting to escape the rat race, Boho Bach is a truly unique experience - and a tonic for the soul.
