Skyview Cottage is located just 30 minutes north of Central Auckland.

Nestled in the rolling farmland hills, the cottage remains hidden while offering a birds-eye view of the surrounding landscape.

Beautifully styled, the cottage is warm and cosy with rustic touches. Inside you'll find a queen-size bed with a sliding barn door leading to a modern ensuite. A lounge and kitchenette are located in the neighbouring room. A lovely swinging chair is positioned on the deck just outside.

Grab a glass of bubbles and enjoy a soak in the outdoor stone bath under the star-studded sky, or gather around the campfire to toast marshmallows for s'mores. On a clear night, you may even see the lights of the Auckland Skytower in the distance.

EATING AND DRINKING

Skyview Cottage is self-catering. Just bring your own food and drink, and cook meals using the two-burner gas hob and BBQ provided at the property. You'll find all the cutlery, crockery, pots and pans that you'll need.

Enjoy the stunning Orewa Beach, just a quick 15-minute drive away, where you'll find a diverse range of dining options along the scenic beach boulevard

A small dairy in Dairy Flat is just five minutes down the road for stocking up on food and supplies. Alternatively, Pak N' Save is accessible within a 13-minute drive.

THINGS TO DO

The views at the cottage are beautiful. Roaming horses, cattle, as well as regenerating bush, surround the property with the skytower lights in the distance on a clear night.

Gather around the campfire and gaze at the stars, or relax in the inviting hot tub after a game of cards or board games. Or take a leisurely walk through the scenic farm to stretch your legs.

For horse owners, bring your horses to stay by the cottage and make use of our farm facilities, including arena access and riding trails.

There are over five beaches within a 15-minute drive, including Orewa Beach and Waiwera/Wenderholm Park, all just moments away from the cottage.

YOUR HOSTS

Your host at Skyview Cottage is Anya.

Anya, along with her two sons, Teagan and Myles, has called this property home for a delightful 13 years. The extended family includes Tui, the friendly Labrador, Jack and Leon, and the horses.

Having spent many years as a private chef in the Yachting industry, Anya has always enjoyed hosting guests. With the little secluded spot on top of the farm, she found it was the perfect spot to get back into hosting.

The name 'Skyview Cottage' was inspired by the enchanting view of the Skytower's lights at night from the cottage.
