Te Whare Taruna

Te Whare Taruna

Cambridge, Waikato

Te Whare Taruna is set on Taruna Farm, 15-minutes from Cambridge in the Waikato.

The cedar-clad tiny house sits on a secluded site at the top of a hill, with sweeping views to the West and out to Mt Pirongia. Adjacent to the Gudex Reserve, the surrounding trees are filled with native birds - Tui, Kereru, and Morepork.

The interior of the cabin is stylish and contemporary with a plush, statement bed as a hero feature. Top-of-the-line bedding and beautiful linens make this a gorgeous place to sink into at the end of the day - or just to snuggle up with a book during the day. Two leather chairs are set next to a 'Roaring Meg' wood-burner - which keeps the cabin cosy during winter.

On the deck outside a deep, stone outdoor bath is perfectly positioned to take in the spectacular sunsets that fill the sky in the evening. The lights of Cambridge twinkle in the foreground while the setting sun silhouettes Mt Pirongia in the distance.
