Nino & Coe

Nino & Coe

Hastings

Nino & Coe is 20 - 25 minutes from Hastings and Havelock North.

The glamping escape consists of three specially designed hybrid tent-huts. Beautifully designed and crafted, each hut has a canvas roof with timber walls that can fully open to let the outside in. When the walls are closed, they create a cosy cabin feel with a fire to snuggle beside.

With two huts containing a queen-size bed and a king size bed in the third hut, the entire campsite sleeps up to 6 people. It's ideal for three couples holidaying together.

Set on a working farm, the huts sit next to a beautiful clear stream with a fantastic, safe swimming hole - perfect for cooling off on a hot summer's day. Large willow trees overhang the water, shading the area from the heat. The extensive planting of native trees makes for a peaceful stroll.

The native bush in the gully behind the huts is full of birdlife. Tuis and Kingfishers are frequent visitors.

If you're keen to explore the local region, there is plenty to see and do in Hawke's Bay. Wineries, farmers' markets, cycle trails and natural wonders, such as the gannet colony on Cape Kidnappers, are just some of the local attractions and activities.

  • Your Hosts

Your hosts at Nino & Coe are Jane and Andy Peacock, and Deanne and Colin Lindsay.

Jane and Andy bought their property 'El Nino' 30 years ago. Recently, they teamed up with neighbours Deanne and Colin to create their amazing hybrid tents. Once complete, they found a magical spot on the farm to put them and opened them up for guests to enjoy.

Nino & Coe is a combination of the two neighbours' farms' names, El Nino and Glencoe Station.
